
Carrie Tate, PMHNP-BC
Carrie Tate is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She is a Missouri native who graduated with her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Memphis. She worked for the next three years in case management and special education. After obtaining her nursing degree at Calhoun College in Alabama, Carrie worked as a cardiovascular nurse and then returned to psychiatry. She earned her MSc with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2018. She has worked in both outpatient and inpatient settings with St. Bernards Counseling Center and St. Bernards Behavioral Health.
Carrie is skilled in assessing and treating mental health disorders in adults, including major depression, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, and bipolar disorder.
Carrie is excited to join the Alleviant team, as she passionately believes in treating the whole patient, both mind and body, with the most comprehensive, newest techniques available in the treatment field.
Outside of work, Carrie is an animal lover who enjoys interior design and spending time at the lake with her husband and two daughters.
