Dawn Lindsey, APRN
Dawn Lindsey is a licensed Certified Nurse Practitioner in the state of Arkansas with prescriptive authority. She holds dual board certifications in Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Practice from both the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
Dawn offers many services, including diagnostic assessments, medication management, and adjunct psychotherapy. In addition, she is able to coordinate referral services for purposeful psychotherapy, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, and Ketamine infusion therapy. It is her personal goal to provide evidence-based care in a holistic and collaborative manner. Dawn believes in the benefits of a therapeutic relationship built upon respect, trust, empowerment, and security.
After earning her Nursing Degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2011, Dawn was blessed with the opportunity to work at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit before furthering her education at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC). She graduated with her Doctoral degree of Nursing practice from UTHSC in 2016. Following graduation, she worked in a busy family practice clinic, treating many psychiatric conditions while also providing medical care to patients diagnosed with severe mental illness. Currently, Dawn is accepting new psychiatric patients at Alleviant Health Centers.
Outside of work, Dawn enjoys being a wife, mother, and Razorback fan. She loves to look and laugh at all things Corgi related, as she owns a rescued Corgi. Although she likes traveling and seeing new things, she prefers to be at home with her family enjoying the simple unrushed moments in life. A fun fact about Dawn is that she’s envious of anyone who can speak multiple languages, saying, “To me, it is like having a super power.”
