Liz Durand
From a young age, Liz Durand has known that she wanted to be a nurse in order to serve others and impact their lives. She is originally from Narberth, PA, where she earned her nursing degree at Chester County Hospital School of Nursing. After finishing school, Liz moved to Boston and worked for three years in a long-term care facility. She then returned to PA and switched her emphasis to Labor and Delivery. For the next seven years, Liz worked as an L&D travel nurse, leading her to Colorado, Washington, California, Oregon and New York City.
In 2005, Liz moved to Florida, where she decided to try something new and trained to work in the Operating Room at NCH Healthcare System in Naples. During this time Liz met her husband, Stephen. In April 2019 they will celebrate 11 years of marriage. They have three boys; ages ten, eight, and six.
Currently, Liz spends most of her time homeschooling her three children. She enjoys the freedom and flexibility of being able to stay home and help in the clinic as well. “I am excited to support my husband in opening and working in our facility in Naples,” says Liz regarding her involvement with Alleviant. “I know there are many people that are in need of this kind of service and I hope we are able to assist many families and bring them hope and treatments that work for them!”
