
Melissa Routh
Melissa Routh is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a degree from the University of Tennessee College of Social Work. Prior to graduate school, she attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she pursued her bachelor’s in science with a double major in Psychology and Sociology. During that time, she found her passion in behavioral health working with families and children with autism at Autism Society of North Carolina and as a teacher assistant at Frank Porter Graham Elementary School.
This journey brought Melissa to Tennessee in 2003 where she worked in a variety of mental health settings, including Parthenon Pavilion Psychiatric Hospital, the Sexual Abuse Center, Prevent Child Abuse Tennessee with the Nurturing Parents Program with Substance Abuse and Recovery, Alive Hospice, Inc., and Rolling Hills Psychiatric Hospital. She has diverse experience and uses her extensive knowledge and therapeutic intervention to bring positive change, enhanced quality of life and optimal emotional well-being to her patients.
Melissa brings psychotherapy, life coaching, and talk therapy to Alleviant Health Centers of Brentwood. She is excited about her role and encourages new clients to experience the holistic approach of healing.
