Mia Gordon, LPC

Mia Gordon is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 6 years of experience in counseling all age ranges. She believes in compassionate, ethical, and evidence-based treatment and works primarily with mood disorders covering issues such as but not limited to Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar I & II as well as Trauma-related issues, Borderline Personality Disorder, Relational issues, and Eating Disorders. She believes that no matter what stage of life you are in, counseling is a journey to a better quality of life.

She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, and integrative theories. She is LGBT friendly and experienced working with a variety of issues within that community. As you go through struggles, she will walk with you toward your goals and hopes. She believes in a holistic treatment and loves to integrate books, art, journaling, etc into her patients’ healing journeys. 

Mia is an animal lover with three dogs, Georgie, Brutus and Marley. She loves to read about psychological developments and just for fun, journaling, and art. She is open-minded and believes in unconditional positive regard. Georgie and her are working on him to become a therapy dog and he serves as an emotional support dog helping people at the office.
