Patty Gibson, M.D.

Chief Medical Officer

Patty Gibson is a physician, board certified in Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine, and Anesthesiology. Her wide variety of clinical, educational and life experiences have led her to join the Alleviant team.

Dr. Gibson’s passion is to help each person find healing, wholeness, and satisfaction in life, believing as long as there is life and breath there is hope. Her personal and professional interests in medicine focus on health rather than disease through a bio-psycho-social-spiritual whole person approach.

She is a strong believer in traditional western medicine combined with non-traditional healing modalities with attention to scientific evidence and consideration of the individual’s choices, needs and responses.

Her medical training includes residencies in Psychiatry and Anesthesiology, as well as a Fellowship in Addiction Medicine. She also completed 300 hours of training in Medical Acupuncture as well as courses in Functional Medicine. Her experience in multiple medical settings and various roles have prepared her to serve as the Chief Medical Officer for Alleviant. She describes one of her greatest joys as being part of – and creating – highly effective teams whose priorities are excellent patient care and support of each other.

Dr. Gibson is excited to be part of the Alleviant team, working creatively to help each patient find healing and wholeness.
