Sadie Blackwell, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Sadie Blackwell has joined Alleviant Health Centers as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. A board-certified psychiatric registered nurse, Sadie worked for several years with patients suffering from a variety of mental health illnesses in the inpatient setting.

Through these experiences, she counseled and treated patients during acute stays in the hospital. “I am excited to continue doing what I love on an outpatient basis,” Sadie said, adding she’s passionate about joining forces with a company that has a similar vision for holistic treatments. “I’m committed to helping people in the community that reach out for help with life’s transitions, mood disorders and thought disturbances.”

Sadie received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Mississippi, then a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, returning as a Professor of Nursing for two years prior to joining Alleviant.

She then earned her Master of Nursing Science with a specialization in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

In her free time, Sadie enjoys local live music, outdoor activities, SEC sports and spending time with her family and volunteering in the community. She is happily married to husband Bobby, and the couple has two daughters, Macy and Nora Rose, as well as two cats, Rocky and Rosie.
