Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

Your Brain Is Wired Differently — Not Deficient

If you’re constantly distracted, forgetful, impulsive, or feel like your mind is always racing — it’s not a character flaw. It may be ADHD. Whether you’re a child struggling in school, an adult feeling overwhelmed by daily demands, or someone who’s gone undiagnosed for years, we want you to know: we see you, we understand, and there is hope.

At Alleviant Integrated Mental Health, we don’t just treat symptoms — we seek to understand the brain behind them. Through empathy, innovation, and data-driven care, we help individuals with ADHD build focus, confidence, and a fulfilling life.

What Is ADHD?

ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects attention, impulse control, and executive functioning. It often begins in childhood but can persist or even go undiagnosed into adulthood. ADHD is not a matter of willpower or laziness — it’s a difference in how the brain is wired and regulated.

Our Precision-Based, Whole-Person Approach

At Alleviant, we use a model of Objective Psychiatry, combining clinical expertise with real brain data to tailor care to each patient. With spectral EEG (sEEG) brain mapping, we can visualize electrical activity in your brain, giving us a measurable vital sign for how your brain is functioning — especially in areas responsible for focus, self-regulation, and memory.

This allows us to move beyond trial-and-error care, helping you or your child get the right treatment faster and more effectively.

Treatment Options for ADHD at Alleviant

Types of ADHD

  • Inattentive Type – Difficulty focusing, disorganization, forgetfulness, mental fog

  • Hyperactive-Impulsive Type – Restlessness, interrupting, impulsive speech or actions

  • Combined Type – A mix of both inattentive and hyperactive/impulsive symptoms

ADHD often affects academic, professional, and personal life — but with the right support, individuals can thrive.

Comprehensive Psychiatry (In-Person or Telehealth)

Our psychiatric team is experienced in evaluating and treating ADHD in children, adolescents, and adults. We provide accurate diagnoses and support your success through medication, therapy, and coordinated care.

Medication Management

Stimulant and non-stimulant medications are often effective in treating ADHD. We personalize each treatment plan and monitor progress closely. When appropriate, we may also use pharmacogenetic testing to guide medication choices.

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)

Though not FDA-approved for ADHD, off-label Personalized rTMS (NeuroSync™) may be considered in select cases. Guided by your EEG data, NeuroSync™ gently stimulates underactive brain areas involved in attention and regulation, offering a non-medication option for symptom relief.

Therapy & Executive Function Coaching (In-Person or Telehealth)

We offer behavioral therapy and skills-based coaching to help improve attention, reduce frustration, and develop practical tools for emotional regulation, time management, and organization.

Spectral EEG (sEEG)

Our sEEG scan helps identify abnormal brainwave patterns — particularly in frontal brain regions often affected in ADHD. It also allows us to track brain changes over time as treatments take effect.

Health Coaching (Telehealth)

Our certified health coaches address the physical foundations of focus and calm, including nutritional imbalances that may worsen ADHD symptoms, toxic exposures (like food additives, environmental chemicals, or heavy metals), and deficiencies in sleep, hydration, exercise, or essential nutrients. By restoring balance to the body, we support brain function at its root.

You’re not broken—your brain just works differently.

We believe ADHD comes with both challenges and gifts, including creativity, energy, and innovation. With the right tools and support, you or your child can not only manage ADHD but truly flourish.
