M. Kathlene “Kat” Smith-Crase, MSN, PMHNP-BC
M. Kathlene “Kat” Smith-Crase serves as the Clinical Director at Alleviant Integrated Mental Health in Fort Smith. She joined the team in September 2025. Kat holds nursing degrees from Eastern Oklahoma State College, Oklahoma Wesleyan University, and the University of Alabama at Birmingham, with a focus on child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry.
Kat brings decades of experience in mental health care, with a clinical foundation that spans child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. She began her career in 1996 in a local hospital setting and has remained deeply committed to improving outcomes and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Kat enjoys meeting patients, supporting their growth, and helping them create positive changes. Outside of work, she spends time with her husband of 15 years, her two children, and her pets. She also plays bass guitar in her church, leads Bible studies, and enjoys riding motorcycles and being outdoors.
