Aaron Cox, a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Alleviant’s Bentonville location, holds a BSN from Missouri Southern State University and an MSN from Walden University. Since 2021, he has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings in northwest Arkansas.
“I noticed many physically healthy individuals still struggle with mental health,” Aaron said. “I chose this field to address overall wellness—physical, mental, and spiritual. Seeing clients improve and become their best selves is incredibly rewarding.”
He was drawn to Alleviant for its holistic approach and innovative treatments. “That sets Alleviant apart as a leader in psychiatric care,” he said.
Aaron values building connections and involving patients in their treatment. “The stigma around mental health is improving but still a challenge.” Known for his integrity and calm demeanor, patients appreciate his honesty and listening skills.
Originally from Aurora, MO, Aaron moved to northwest Arkansas in 2017 with his wife, Emma. They have a daughter, Ava, and two dogs, Noah and Hazel. “We loved the nature here and knew it was the perfect place to start our family.”
In his free time, Aaron enjoys time with his family, traveling, fishing, woodworking, and adventuring with his dogs.
