Amy Naugher, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Amy Naugher is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner serving patients in Rogers. She joined Alleviant in May 2026 with a passion for helping individuals heal and improve their mental well-being through compassionate, patient-centered care. Amy earned her degree from Herzing University and has spent years working in community mental health settings across Texas.
Amy’s journey into mental health care began while completing her BSN at Arkansas Tech University. During a community project focused on suicide rates in her area, she discovered a severe lack of mental health resources in her community, which also had one of the highest suicide rates in the state. That experience inspired her to become part of the solution. She began her career as a registered nurse in mental health and continued her education to become a PMHNP. Since then, she has remained dedicated to walking alongside patients through both the difficult and meaningful moments in life.
Amy believes one of the most rewarding parts of her work is helping people process, heal, and regain hope. Patients and colleagues often describe her as genuinely caring and honest, qualities that guide the strong relationships she builds with those in her care. She appreciates Alleviant’s commitment to addressing the root causes of mental health challenges rather than focusing only on symptom management.
Originally from Central Arkansas, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband, John, and daughter, Allissa. Outside of work, she loves reading, thrifting, cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks, and caring for her many farm animals, including cattle, horses, goats, chickens, rabbits, and dogs. A self-described former city girl, Amy says she found peace and comfort in farm life and often spends time with her goats whenever she needs a little cheering up.
