Annette Rueda-Valerio

Annette Rueda-Valerio serves as a Patient Support Specialist at Alleviant Integrated Mental Health in Shawnee, Kansas. She joined the team in January 2026 and brings valuable experience in patient support and medical interpretation, including work with Vibrant Health, Mercy and Truth Medical Missions, and Westwood Chiropractic. Annette also holds credentials as a Medical Spanish Interpreter, allowing her to support patients with compassion, clarity, and cultural understanding. 

Annette was drawn to mental health care by the opportunity to help patients navigate their daily lives and feel supported throughout their care journey. She finds the work especially rewarding when she sees patients become more comfortable, confident, and hopeful over time. From her very first interactions at Alleviant, Annette felt a strong sense of community and appreciation for the supportive environment created by her team.

Annette is often described by patients as sympathetic, reliable, and eager to learn. She grew up in Kansas City, Kansas, and is an only child who jokes that she must have been spoiled. Outside of work, Annette enjoys collecting antique clothing buttons and spending time with her two energetic cats and two dogs. A fun fact about Annette is that she has appeared as a character in healthcare commercials for local universities in Kansas.
