Brooke Adamek, LPC

Brooke Adamek is a Licensed Professional Counselor who takes a warm, collaborative approach to therapy. She works primarily with teens and young adults, helping them navigate life stressors and major transitions while building practical tools for growth. Her style is person-centered and solution-focused, meeting clients where they are and adjusting as their needs and goals change.

She earned her Bachelor of Science with a minor in Child and Family Studies from Northwest Missouri State University in 2017, and her Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Emporia State University in 2020.

Before joining Alleviant in April 2026, Brooke worked at Wyandot Behavioral Health Network, Lansing Correctional Facility, and DCCCA. These experiences shaped her passion for advocacy and reinforced her belief that people are capable of growth, change, and new perspectives.

Brooke was drawn to mental health work because she believes deeply in second chances. She is passionate about helping people feel heard, understood, and supported as they work toward meaningful change. She finds the most joy in watching clients discover new insights about themselves and grow in ways that strengthen their lives and relationships.

“When a client has a positive outcome, it brings a strong sense of relief and purpose. It’s rewarding to see their hard work pay off and to witness the progress they’ve made. Those moments reinforce the value of the work and the impact that consistent effort and support can have over time.”

Clients often describe Brooke as empathetic, honest, and dependable. She strives to be a steady and supportive presence through each person’s journey.

Brooke grew up in a small town in Missouri with a supportive family who encouraged her to pursue her goals. Outside of work, she enjoys painting, crafting, and sewing, along with spending time with family and friends, often outdoors sharing food and good company. She is also a big music fan and loves planning trips around concerts. At home, Brooke has a cockapoo named Bennie who keeps life fun.
