Chris Clem, Ph.D., MOL

Chris Clem serves as Chief People Officer at Alleviant Integrated Mental Health, working across headquarters and supporting teams at clinics nationwide. He joined Alleviant in January 2026 and brings decades of experience in leadership development, organizational health, and human performance. Chris holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Southeastern University and a Master of Organizational Leadership from Nelson University.

Chris was drawn to the mental health field by a deep passion for serving others and helping individuals reach their full potential. He believes mental health is foundational to personal optimization and fulfillment, and he strongly aligns with Alleviant’s personalized and whole person approach to care. What stands out most to him is the organization’s commitment to true healing and its mission to support people beyond symptom management.

Before joining Alleviant, Chris held leadership roles with the Arkansas Department of Public Safety, Arkansas State Police, Highland Assembly, Faith Family Church, KCM International, and the Southwest Sports Group with the Texas Rangers and Dallas Stars. He is known for being empathetic, honest, visionary, and deeply motivated by helping people and teams thrive.

Originally from Texas, Chris grew up primarily in the Dallas Fort Worth area and considers Tyler, Texas home. He and his wife have been married for more than 30 years and are proud parents of three children and grandparents to three grandchildren! Outside of work, Chris enjoys hunting, fishing, cycling, and golfing. A fun fact about Chris is that he was a college cheerleader at Navarro Junior College after a knee injury ended his high school football career.
