Gina Mies
Gina Mies serves as a Healthcare Marketing Outreach Specialist at Alleviant Integrated Mental Health in Shawnee, Kansas. She joined the team in January 2026 and brings a strong background in communications, marketing, and community-based mental health services. Gina earned her Bachelor of Science in Communications from Ottawa University and focuses on building relationships, increasing awareness, and connecting individuals to meaningful mental health resources.
Gina was drawn to mental health after seeing firsthand how impactful the right support can be at the right time. Throughout her career, she has gravitated toward people-focused roles centered on relationships, problem-solving, and advocacy. Her previous experience includes work with The Aviary Recovery Center, Johnson County Mental Health, and Valley Hope, where she supported individuals and families navigating complex care systems.

She finds the most enjoyment in connecting people to resources that have the potential to positively transform their lives. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and raised in the Kansas City suburbs, Gina values family and time spent together. She and her husband, Greg, have a blended family with four adult children and share their home with a chocolate Labrador named Scout. Outside of work, Gina enjoys building her family’s forever home on acreage in the country. A fun fact about Gina is that she played percussion as a teenager and was the first female drummer in her junior high school.
