John Lee Roberts, MA, MSc, LPC, NCC
John Lee Roberts joined Alleviant Integrated Mental Health in 2025 as a therapist at the Little Rock clinic. His therapeutic focus includes anxiety, depression, ADHD, couples work, life transitions, burnout, and trauma-informed care. With a background that bridges the arts and sciences, John brings a steady presence and a gift for deep listening into each session.
He brings a rich educational background that bridges the sciences and humanities:
B.Mus. in Piano Performance with Honors – University of Kansas
B.S., Magna Cum Laude
M.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies (Counseling, Music, Disability Studies) – University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Summa Cum Laude
M.Sc. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling – Southern Arkansas University, Summa Cum Laude
Postgraduate Fellowship – Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, Poland, funded by the Institute for International Education
“Transformation—whether musical or personal—requires deep listening, patience, and presence. Few things are more sacred than watching someone begin to face themselves with clarity and compassion.”
Born and raised in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, John’s roots in service run deep. His mother helped found the Area Agency on Aging in Arkansas, instilling in him the value of care and advocacy from an early age.
John shares his home with two rescue cats, Schubert and Sofia, who remind him daily that small things matter. Outside of work, he continues to compose and play piano, enjoys reading and cooking, and finds joy in creating peaceful spaces. One fun fact? While studying in Poland, he gave a candlelit concert in a centuries-old church, an experience that showed him how silence and setting can be just as meaningful as words.
