Karen Sandage
Karen Sandage serves as a Patient Support Specialist at Alleviant Health Centers' Little Rock location. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Tourism from St. Paul University in Manila, Philippines, in 2014. Before joining the healthcare field, she built a successful career in hospitality and restaurant management, serving as General Manager at Table on the 6th and later as part of the opening leadership team at Sestina Steakhouse in Bentonville.
Drawn to Alleviant’s mission of improving lives through innovative, non-invasive mental health treatments, Karen was inspired by the positive impact she witnessed on patients during her time with the Fayetteville team. She is passionate about helping individuals feel supported, valued, and hopeful as they work toward better mental health and overall well-being.
Karen finds the greatest reward in knowing she has contributed to making a positive difference in someone’s life. She enjoys connecting with new people, building meaningful relationships, and helping patients navigate their care with compassion and understanding. Known for her warm, outgoing personality, Karen brings positivity, energy, and genuine care to every interaction.
Originally from Metro Manila, Philippines, Karen moved to the United States to be with her husband. After living in Colorado, they relocated to Arkansas to be closer to family. Outside of work, Karen enjoys drawing, painting, arts and crafts, hiking with her husband and their dog Max, and singing karaoke with friends and family. She and her husband also share their home with Ozzy, a friendly rescue cat who keeps life entertaining with his curious personality.
