Kristen King, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Kristen King serves as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Alleviant Integrated Mental Health in Conway. She joined the team in February 2026 and brings a strong clinical background across intensive care, geriatric psychiatry, residential youth treatment, and inpatient mental health settings. Kristen earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Arkansas in 2019 and completed her Master’s degree at Chamberlain University in 2024.

Kristen’s interest in mental health began while working in an intensive care unit, where she saw how often patients’ mental health needs were overlooked. Her passion for the field deepened during her time in a geriatric psychiatric unit, leading her to pursue advanced training as a mental health nurse practitioner so she could advocate for those who may not always be able to speak for themselves. She values Alleviant’s integrative and holistic approach to care and believes in treating the whole person.

“Being part of a patient’s journey and seeing positive outcomes brings me a deep sense of joy and fulfillment.”

Kristen finds the most enjoyment in building meaningful connections with patients and watching them succeed. She also recognizes that breaking the stigma surrounding mental health is one of the most challenging and important aspects of her work. Raised in Central Arkansas, Kristen is married and has two young children. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading thriller novels, and crocheting.
