Pamela Guerra, RN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC
Pamela Guerra joined Alleviant Integrated Mental Health in June 2025 as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She brings a whole-person perspective to care, informed by her years of experience in both medical and psychiatric settings. Pamela’s clinical background includes treating chemical dependency, working across inpatient units, and providing primary care to patients of all ages.
She holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health from Purdue University Global (2023), a Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from Purdue University Global (2021), and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arizona College (2018).
“I love helping people live their best life. It feels great to see patients improving, and contributing to their healing and growth is both an honor and a deeply fulfilling experience.”
Pamela’s experience includes several years at Desert Parkway Behavioral Health Hospital, where she served as both a medical and psychiatric provider across diverse units including children, adolescents, geriatric patients, chemical dependency, and military and first responders. Her passion for mental health is rooted in her long-standing work with recovery and her fascination with human behavior.
Originally from a rural small town in Paris, Illinois, Pamela now calls Nevada home. She is happily married and enjoys spending time with her adult daughters, her grandson, and her close-knit family. Her dog, Honey—an Australian Shepherd mix—uses communication buttons to “talk” with the family, saying things like “I love you” or calling them by name to ask for treats.
Outside of work, Pamela loves to travel, cook, listen to audiobooks, and relax with movies or a good binge-worthy series.
