Susan Strader, LPC

Susan Strader, LPC, is a Therapist at Alleviant Integrated Mental Health, serving patients at the Jonesboro clinic. She joined the team in March 2025 and provides compassionate support to individuals navigating anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, aging related concerns, and life transitions. Her therapeutic approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and focuses on helping patients build practical skills that support long term emotional wellbeing.

Susan earned her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2017. She entered the mental health field with a strong desire to serve others and help people work through life’s challenges in meaningful ways. Her goal is to meet individuals where they are and support them as they develop the insight and tools needed to make positive changes in their lives.

What stood out to Susan about Alleviant Integrated Mental Health is the organization’s sense of structure, integrity, and supportive environment. She values being part of a team that creates a warm and organized setting where both patients and staff can thrive.

“There is no greater feeling than knowing that my client dug deep and realized how amazing they are.”

Susan finds the most rewarding part of her work in watching people grow stronger, heal, and discover the confidence and abilities they already possess. Patients often describe her as dedicated, hardworking, caring, and someone who brings a little bit of silliness into the therapy space.

Outside of work, Susan enjoys staying active and prioritizing health with early morning workouts alongside her husband of more than three decades. She also loves gardening and spending time outdoors. At home she cares for her dog, Gigi, and enjoys raising chickens, which she says keep her busy but bring plenty of joy to her daily routine.
