Vickie Summar

Vickie Summar serves as a Human Resources Generalist at Alleviant Integrated Mental Health. She joined Alleviant in February 2026 and brings more than 20 years of experience in full cycle human resources management, supporting organizations ranging from small startups to large corporations across industries including fintech, insurance, and telecommunications. Vickie is an active member of SHRM and the Central Arkansas Human Resource Association. 

Vickie was drawn to the mental health field because of the growing need for quality mental healthcare and the opportunity to support people during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. Her work focuses on human resources, talent acquisition, employee relations, training and development, and change management, all with the goal of helping teams and individuals succeed. 

What stands out to Vickie about Alleviant Integrated Mental Health is the mission centered on empowering individuals to thrive. She believes this focus is essential in building self efficacy and creating an environment where people feel supported and valued. 

“Helping others succeed” is what Vickie finds most rewarding in her role. 

Colleagues often describe Vickie as someone with high integrity and a steady voice of reason. She is known for following through on commitments, staying grounded in difficult situations, and doing what is right. 

Originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, Vickie enjoys spending time outdoors when she is not at work. Her interests include long walks, nature photography, container gardening, reading, learning new things, and supporting high school athletics. She also enjoys beach vacations with her family and values collecting experiences over material things.
