Before coming to Alleviant, he worked at the Centers for Youth and Families, with his focus on women and men coming out of domestic violence, and sex trafficking situations as well as clients with depression and anxiety.

He is from Texas but grew up in the Dominican Republic as a missionary kid, is married, and has four children. His passions include his church, clients, and family, and last but not least, he raises Silkie Chickens!

Jason believes in the ability to adapt and heal, and all clients are warmly welcomed, including those from diverse socio-economic, ethnic, racial, spiritual, regional, philosophical, sexual orientation, and other backgrounds. Providing a safe and secure place to work on difficult issues without fear of judgment is always his ultimate goal.

Although he is EMDR certified and experienced, Jason operates from a relational approach to counseling, with the therapeutic relationship being one of the main healing factors even during the application of other interventions.
