Jennifer Rawls, MNSc, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Jennifer Rawls is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She provides diagnosis and treatment for a variety of mental health conditions across the lifespan, including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, schizophrenia, insomnia, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. She offers medication management and psychotherapy with a collaborative, holistic, and evidence-based approach. Jennifer understands that the journey to wellness is multifaceted. She strives to address her client’s emotional, physical, social, and spiritual needs. She is excited to join Alleviant as she will be able to offer clients the most effective, evidence-based treatments, such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).
Jennifer began her career as a registered nurse with experience in emergency, neurology, medical-surgical, and home health settings. After moving to central Arkansas, she provided care for youth in a residential treatment center and acute behavioral hospital. This is where she discovered her passion for psychiatry.
Jennifer went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in nursing degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a Master of Nursing Science degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.
Jennifer is an Arkansas native and enjoys the many outdoor activities Arkansas has to offer, such as hiking and fishing. She also enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
