Rick is a licensed professional counselor at Alleviant’s Little Rock location. He relies on various cognitive behavioral approaches when doing therapy and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a treatment modality used to treat those effected by trauma. He has dealt extensively with personality disorders, particularly the Cluster B types, including antisocial personality disorder, borderline personality disorder, histrionic personality disorder, and narcissistic personality disorder. He has also frequently worked with individuals with bipolar disorder during the course of his practice.

“I believe that therapy allows the individual to take an objective look at the trajectory their life is taking and make adjustments accordingly,” he said.

Rick believes there is a reason for everything and that psychology has always allowed him to make sense of the world.

“I love to do whatever I can to facilitate positive growth in others.”
