Donna is a psychiatric nurse practitioner at Alleviant’s Fayetteville location. She holds a Master of Science in nursing from Walden University and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Arkansas. She started her career in medicine as a licensed practical nurse in 1995. She has prior experience working in pediatrics and women’s health.

Donna was led to a career in mental health after witnessing family members struggle with alcohol and drug abuse while growing up.

“When a patient has a positive mental health outcome, it fills me with a profound sense of fulfillment and hope,” she said. “Witnessing their progress and growth is incredibly rewarding, reflecting their hard work and resilience. I often feel joy and pride, knowing I played a role in their journey toward better mental health. Overall, it’s a motivating experience that deepens my commitment to helping others.”

Known as a compassionate, empathetic listener who advocates for those in need, Donna said working at Alleviant is different because of its holistic approach to treatment as an important option instead of only prescription medications.

A lifelong native of northwest Arkansas, she is married and has two sons. Away from work, she enjoys playing golf, raising her backyard chickens, gardening, and spending time with her family and dogs, a chihuahua, Apple, and golden doodle, Marcie.
