Drew Eisele, PMHNP-BC
Drew is a certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with a history of inpatient and outpatient experience working with adult populations. He is passionate about treating patients with various mental health needs, including those with addiction, anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. He places an emphasis on holistic care, including paying close attention to diet, activity level, social needs, and personalized spiritual needs. He finds fulfillment working with individuals from all backgrounds, including meeting the needs of those in the LGTBQ+ community. He joined the Alleviant team with great enthusiasm with access to leading edge advancements in mental healthcare, including transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and ketamine treatments.
Prior to providing mental health care, Drew began his career selling insurance after earning a bachelor’s degree in insurance and risk management from the University of Central Arkansas in 2009. Wanting to help people with their personal struggles, he left the insurance industry after five years, earned an associate’s degree in nursing at Northwest Community College and provided care at a comprehensive cancer treatment center. He returned to UCA to complete a bachelor’s in nursing science with a focus on behavioral health in 2019.
“Many people are affected by mental disorders and drug and alcohol problems, and they are not getting the care that they need,” he said. “I wanted to work for a place that had the newest treatments. I wouldn’t want to work for a clinic that didn’t have TMS or Spravato because that is the future. Alleviant is doing it the right way.”
His patients are drawn to his calming presence, which helps him connect with people and let them know they are not alone.
“I have an aptitude for helping people that were struggling,” he said.
Drew is a native of Mena, Ark., and a northwest Arkansas resident since 2006. He most enjoys spending time with his daughter, parents, and friends. He enjoys off trail hiking in Arkansas’ state and national forests.
