Gwen Roberts, MSN, APRN, PMHNP

Gwen Roberts is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Alleviant’s Jonesboro location. A 2021 graduate of Walden University, she oversees her patients’ medication management in dealing with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and psychosis.

She entered the mental health field after witnessing a lack of resources when a family member needed help and wanted to be part of “fixing the problem.” She chose to work at Alleviant because of its holistic, patient-centered care.

“Being a part of an individual’s journey to growth and healing is the most enjoyable part of the job,” Gwen said. “I am overcome with gratitude when I can help a patient reach a positive outcome.”

A northeast Arkansas native, Gwen is married and has two adult children. Away from work, she enjoys spending time with her family and three dogs: Gunner, a German Shepard, Axel, an Australian Shepard, and Radley, a mini Dachshund who is the pack’s boss.
