Jennifer’s experience includes working with children and adolescents in therapeutic foster care, therapeutic day treatment, and school-based programs as well as adults. Jennifer believes in treating the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. She believes in using an integrative approach while focusing on holistic wellness-based methods to optimize overall health and quality of life in her clients by addressing mental, physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
Jennifer is passionate about developing a caring and therapeutic relationship with each of her patients. She strives to empower her patients to have an active role in their treatment by using a combination of psychotherapy, nutrition, exercise, medication, and procedures such as Spravato and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). She believes in treating the individual and their symptoms, not just a diagnosis.
Jennifer received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Chadron State College and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South Dakota State University. She received her Master of Nursing Science with a specialization in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from the University of Missouri – Columbia. Jennifer has mentored advanced practice nursing students from several programs by providing real-world learning opportunities and experiences in a clinical setting. She is also a member of the Arkansas Nurse Practitioner Association and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association at both the state and national levels.
Outside of the office, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, traveling, and reading.
