Adrianne Funmaker is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She holds dual board certification in psychiatric mental health and pediatric acute care. In total, she has 12 years of clinical experience in nursing, six of those spent as a nurse practitioner at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. She specialized in neurology with an emphasis on building a Tourette’s clinic complete with a certification in Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Tourette’s (CBIT), treating headaches, epilepsy, and cerebral palsy. It was in neurology that she realized mental health was her calling after seeing firsthand the lack of providers in the field and decided to return to school to help fill this need across Arkansas. She provides assessment, diagnosis, and medication management for individuals across the lifespan with varying mental health conditions. Always a nurse first, Adrianne treats all patients and families with dignity and compassion and believes in working together to improve outcomes within a therapeutic relationship.
