Welcome to Alleviant Health Centers of Conway!
We are excited to bring integrative psychiatry services to the community of Conway, AR, and look forward to helping our patients identify and heal the root cause of their mental health disturbances. We are committed to offering the latest in mental health innovation and welcome anyone seeking relief and renewed purpose to reach out to us.
We help people suffering from mood disorders using a combination of traditional treatments and innovative holistic modalities.
Diagnostic Evaluations
We perform a full diagnostic evaluation with all of our new patients. During this appointment, a psychiatric nurse practitioner will review the patient’s symptoms, medication list, and previous psychiatric records (if any exist). After the provider forms a diagnosis and a broad overview of the patient’s situation, they work with the patient to establish a comprehensive treatment plan. This appointment usually last about 40 to 60 minutes and is the foundation for integrated holistic healing.
Medication Management
Medication management appointments are a chance for providers and patients to discuss medication use and efficacy so that the provider can adjust or change doses as needed and refill prescriptions. While we help patients stabilize their internal landscape with the use of medication, these medication management appointments are also used to create and implement a strategy of transition from medication dependency to deep holistic healing.
Telebehavioral Health
Remote appointments with our team of providers include psychiatric evaluations, talk therapy, and medication management services. Our patients have simple, convenient access to care via a desktop computer or a mobile app. All of our clinicians have completed 26 hrs of telehealth training to maintain the highest level of excellence in providing telebehavioral health care that meets the standards of care in telehealth.
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
TMS is a non-invasive procedure for treatment-resistant depression. It delivers magnetic impulses through an electromagnetic coil to the prefrontal cortex, the region of the brain associated with mood control. TMS helps nerves begin to communicate again and reinforces positive nerve pathways. Therapy takes place five days a week for four to six weeks. Each treatment lasts less than 4 minutes. TMS is FDA-approved for treatment-resistant depression. We preauthorize patients to make sure that their insurance is accepted.
SPRAVATOTM
SPRAVATO™, also known as esketamine, is a nasal spray that rapidly alleviates depressive symptoms and when used in conjunction with therapy, assists in rapid healing of treatment-resistant depression and other mood disorders. The approval of this drug by the FDA is considered to be one of the most significant advances in mental health in the last 30 years, as now patients who have failed 2 or more antidepressants have a safe, fast-acting, solution that is covered by insurance.
