Michelle Head, MNSc, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Michelle Head is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She has diverse experience in mental health, and is always looking to better her practice through implementing new research.

For much of her career, Michelle has worked in a trauma intensive care unit step-down unit and became increasingly interested in mental health after gaining insight into the pharmacological treatments for those in the unit, including pain management, acute delirium, and traumatic brain injuries. She went to graduate school at UAMS for psychiatric mental health and graduated in 2018 with an MNSc and PMHNP-BC.
