Robin is a licensed clinical social worker and therapist at Alleviant’s Jonesboro location who sees patients aged 10 and older. She holds a master’s degree in social work from Arkansas State University. A therapist for nearly 10 years, she has experience working in prisons, hospitals, and outpatient care.

“I grew up in a family full of nurses. Health care is part of who I am,” Robin said. “I took an interest in mental health once I saw a need for certain populations. I wanted to help others improve their mental health and learn how to work with it.”

She said she joined Alleviant because of its focus on the whole person and ensure that clients get what they need from mental health services.

“When a client has a positive outcome in therapy, it is a wonderous experience,” she said. “To watch someone who came in when they felt they were ‘rock bottom,’ and be able to understand their own mental health and learn how to work with it so that they may be able to build themselves up is a joy.”

Known as laid back and giving, Robin was born and raised in Jonesboro.

“I am very close with my family and family-oriented,” she said “I also have one cat, who loves to play with hair ties to the point that she will steal it out of my hair.”

Outside of work, Robin tries to make time for different hobbies, including reading and redecorating the house unnecessarily.
