JC McDaniel, LPC, Director of Therapy
JC McDaniel has been practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2011. He specializes in relationship and marital counseling and trauma recovery. He is married and has four children.
While pursuing his undergraduate degree at the University of Central Arkansas, JC played three years on the golf team. He joined the United States Marine Corps in 1997 and attended flight school. After marrying and moving to various parts of the United States, JC withdrew from active duty due to a shoulder injury in 2001. He returned to the Marines in 2005 and graduated from Infantry Officers Course. He then moved to Little Rock to serve for seven years with India Company, 3rd Battalion, 23rd Marine Regiment. JC was deployed to Iraq twice (2007 and 2008) where he was engaged in combat operations for eight months.
In 2009 JC attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and received a Masters in Counseling. His goal is to serve veterans and the battles they face after deployment. Over the past seven years he has worked with people of all ages dealing with all aspects of mental health issues. In addition to seeing patients in Alleviant Health Centers of Little Rock, JC is the Director of Therapy for the corporate office, where he develops training and therapy protocol at a company-wide level.
